Slithir and Yg's dialogue is a lot of fun to write. One of the things I wanted to explore in this comic, as well as different types of evil, was different types of intelligence. Slithir's mode of speech draws on H.P. Lovecraft's wordy prose, but I liked the idea of Yg being just as intelligent (maybe even more intelligent...) but not wasting words. Yg just tells it like it is.
I had a really great weekend setting up some of my games at the Affinity gallery in Saskatoon, meeting good people and talking game design with them. Hopefully some of you are reading this now.
Also, I am seeking Critters fan art to post in January, and I'm willing to do art trades for it. Leave a comment, send me a PM, or email me at maycontainmonkeys@gmail.com. Thanks!
